We started as Photo Craft Laboratories way back in 1974 in Boulder, Colorado as a neighborhood photo lab. Colorado has along heritage of great photography and Boulder has more than its fair share of amateur photographers, fine art photographers, commercial and catalog shooters, National Geographic phototgraphers, graphic designers, ad agencies and other creative professionals. It is a small town with a rather large reputation. We live in the right place!

The lab grew over the years and added several services and products along the way. In the '80s and '90s we became a world reknowned producer of 70mm duplication film for the international stock photography industry. We begaun offering digital imaging services as early as the late '80s, well ahead of the crowd. Our first large format digitally made prints were sold in 1993. Always known for high quality, we adapted ICC profile standards very early in this process and have been teaching clinets these color management techniques ever since. We love to share our expertise with clients, partly to make the process smoother for everyone, but mostly because it leads to successful outcomes. We treat our clients as partners!

We created the sub brand of GrafXGroup in 2007 to better reflect the nature of our business growth. While we are committed to making the finest photographic prints available today, we are excited to also be producting larger and more sophisticated marketing and display graphics for today's increadible demand for visual communication images.
